Our Fertility Story

Rachael has what they like to diagnose as PCOS. What that means for us is Rachael doesn't ovulate, making conception very difficult. It's been almost 10 years now, and nothing has quite stuck. This is where our journey leads us to you!

We have wanted to be parents more than anything, and our parents grandparents. Not being able to get pregnant has been a long and painful road for our family, especially for Rachael as her heart is 100% dedicated to any situation that comes up. She cannot help but wear her heart on her sleeves. We have been through many different options of fertility treatments, medications, surgery, procedures and two IFV treatments. Failed attempts, and then a pregnancy that ended in a heartbreaking miscarriage. We are saving up for IVF again but our hearts are always pulled towards adoption, and has always been something we wanted to peruse. We had a direct contact with a birth mom last summer to be able to adopt a little boy. We got home study certified and got a lawyer and everything ready for baby to come. The day baby was born, birth mom said she hadn't changed her mind and sent us pictures of what was to be our sweet baby Liam. That story didn't have a happy ending and was devastating to say the least. We have had several people reach out with "maybe opportunities", that have only stayed as dreams.

We understand how hard this journey is for everyone involved and are grateful you are taking the time to truly see who we are. Having a child in our home is a forever commitment and not something we take lightly. We have the love, support and desire to be incredible parents if only given the chance.

We know in our hearts there is a baby out there for us- and we are waiting!!
